Ofsted Inspection - 2011

Following a visit from Ofsted Inspectors on the 15th and 16th of February 2011, Abbey Primary Community School has been judged as an Outstanding school and is now considered to be one of the top 8% of Primary Schools nationally.  The school received 28 out of 31 outstanding judgements.
"There was some ‘hairs on the back of my neck’, spine tingling teaching."

The report is a culmination of four and a half years of dedicated effort towards improving Abbey Primary. During this period our EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 SATs results have improved dramatically. The quality of teaching and learning is now better than ever. The curriculum is exciting and designed to meet the needs of all children.

The report shows that the children are now getting the highest quality of education, which is exactly what they deserve.
